Rural Road Development #1 - Chandpur Village Road

Designed and executed under full structural engineer compliance, utilizing slump consistencies, cylindrical testing, and grade validation.
Project Overview & Scope
This project was executed to establish a reliable, climate-resilient road connection. It involved structural earth filling to elevate the subgrade above flood level, sand cushion layering, heavy soil compaction, and laying of high-durability herring-bone-bond first-class bricks.
“This subproject is part of the community-driven micro-financing initiative co-financed by local villagers and the Social Development Foundation. It aims to empower community communication, bypass flood blockages, and promote district connectivity.”
Engineering Execution & QA/QC Methodology
Detailed On-site Operations Log:
Supervised excavation of organic topsoil, carried out layer-by-layer subgrade earth filling (9-inch layers), added water and compacted each layer with vibratory rollers. Performed sand cone tests to verify 95% dry density. Directed laying of edge brick borders, sand bedding, brick flat soling, sand spreading, and final HBB brick paving. Completed turfing on side slopes for erosion prevention.
